Chapter 10: Dispersed Camping at Racetrack, Montana

After Washington, I took I90 East through Idaho into Montana. This is the first time I have been in these states. It’s large opened country. There is a dispersed campsite in Montana I want to stop by for the night. It’s a scenic drive in through ranch and prairie land. The campsites are located along the Racetrack Creek. There’s a spot for a large group camping with lots of picnic tables and fire pits, and around 6 to 10 smaller sites closer to the banks of the creek. There are relatively clean pit toilets. The terrain is relatively flat with plenty of room for RV parking. Over all it’s secluded free camping in a beautiful location right off of I90, perfect for a night or two stay on your cross country travel.
